It features three oscillators offering a variety of waveforms including saw, sine, square, pulse with pulse-width modulation, and noise, allowing for a broad palette of tonal possibilities. The synth supports multiple modes such as polyphonic, monophonic, and legato, enabling expressive performance options and smooth transitions without retriggering envelopes.

The instrument provides flexible filtering options including 12dB and 24dB low-pass and band-pass filters with resonance control, high-pass filtering, and adjustable envelope modulation for cutoff frequency. Self-resonance is available, adding character to the sound while requiring careful volume management. Envelopes are available for both amplitude and filter sections, with linear and exponential shapes to sculpt the attack, decay, sustain, and release phases precisely. JellyFilter also includes versatile modulation capabilities with attack-decay envelopes that can be routed to frequency modulation amounts or oscillators, offering fast and slow modulation options. The built-in chorus effect adds depth and movement, with adjustable rate, depth, delay, and waveform type.
