ImpulseLoaderStereo is a straightforward stereo impulse response (IR) file loader and convolution plug-in designed for LV2 hosts. It enables users to apply convolution effects by loading IR files with ease, providing a clean and efficient interface for stereo processing. The plug-in supports seamless IR file management through an integrated file browser or drag and drop functionality where supported by the host.

This version introduces improved file switching capabilities, allowing users to change IR files using the mouse wheel, mouse clicks, or keyboard up and down keys. A right-click on the interface opens a pop-up menu displaying all available IR files in the current directory, enabling quick selection. The convolution engine has been optimized for lighter CPU usage, especially when handling non power-of-two buffer sizes, by leveraging a multi-threaded FFT convolution algorithm. The user interface has also been refined for a better overall experience.

ImpulseLoaderStereo handles various channel configurations by duplicating single-channel IR files to stereo and loading only the first two channels when more are present. It automatically resamples loaded IR files to match the session sample rate, ensuring consistent audio quality. These features make it an efficient and practical tool for applying convolution effects with minimal setup.
