The tone control module draws inspiration from retro treble and bass tilt filters, allowing adjustment of center frequency and output trim with selectable modes that position the EQ before or after the clipper, or emphasize the opposite EQ after the clipper. The clipper delivers input drive up to +36 dB with adjustable ceiling and edge settings, ranging from hard to very soft clipping. It offers multiple clipping algorithms, including a legendary soft clipper, a tight polynomial adapted from a soft-knee limiter, and an original high-order polynomial designed for loud and aggressive sounds.
