HorusDSP is a powerful DSP host designed for Eurorack modular synthesizers, offering enhanced programmability and polyphony capabilities. It features two analog audio inputs, four analog audio outputs, and four control voltage inputs, enabling seamless integration into modular setups. The hardware DSP processes audio locally with extremely low latency, allowing users to chain multiple HorusDSP modules or incorporate them into analog patches without compromising signal timing.

While the VST plugins serve primarily as an editing platform, HorusDSP operates as a fully standalone module once programmed. It supports storing up to 32 programs in its internal memory, which can be accessed via MIDI Program Change messages for quick recall. The available plugin suite includes dual harmonic oscillators, multimode filters with integrated modulation matrices, and polyphonic oscillators, with additional plugins like vocoders and phasers currently under development. All plugins are provided free with the hardware and future updates will also be complimentary, making HorusDSP an economical choice for advanced modular DSP processing.

HorusDSP introduces VirtualCV, an innovative control system using the RTP-MIDI protocol to achieve real-time plugin control with millisecond resolution. This feature is ideal for integration with environments such as Max/MSP and Sensomusic Usine, enabling dynamic modulation and expressive interaction. The platform is fully open, empowering users to develop and upload their own custom plugins, thus expanding creative possibilities and tailoring functionality to specific needs within the modular ecosystem.
