Harmonaut is an additive synthesis instrument designed for creative sound design through intuitive control of harmonics. It offers four waveform types including sine, saw, triangle, and square waves, allowing users to draw and shape up to 32 harmonics individually. Each harmonic comes with its own adjustable attack, decay, sustain, and release settings, providing detailed control over the evolution of the sound.

Beyond harmonic shaping, Harmonaut features additional sound-shaping tools such as low-pass and high-pass filters, a multi-mode LFO synchronized to BPM, and an internal chorus effect. These elements enable further tonal modulation and dynamic textures. The interface incorporates easy-to-use pop-up menus and a built-in preset manager, which includes 64 factory presets and the ability to edit patch names for streamlined workflow.

Harmonaut supports full MIDI learning and VST automation, making it compatible with a wide range of digital audio workstations and allowing precise control over parameters during performance and production. Its combination of detailed harmonic sculpting and modulation options makes it a powerful tool for producing rich, evolving sounds.
