Footile is a creative remix of the Motile VST effect by Novuzeit, offering a unique approach to multi-effect processing. While it retains the same serial multi-fx structure and core sound design as Motile, Footile introduces an innovative modulation system that sets it apart. This system allows for dynamic control over effects by blending parameters across four distinct scenes, each represented by a color-coded corner on an XY pad at the interface's center.

Users can smoothly morph between these four scenes by moving the XY pad cursor, enabling fluid transitions and complex sound evolutions. The morphing process itself can be modulated using a variety of independent and mixable modulation sources such as LFOs, sequencers, envelope followers, and randomizers. These modulations operate along the X and Y axes at host-synchronized rates, giving precise rhythmic and textural control over the effects' behavior.

Footile's effects chain includes pitch shifting, bitrate crushing, psychoacoustic grain manipulation, glitch processing, metal distortion, filtering, and control modulation. Each effect can be individually activated or bypassed and mixed to taste, making it a powerful tool for experimental sound design. The VST also comes with 32 presets that explore unconventional and gritty sonic textures, perfect for producers seeking to push their audio into new, edgy territories.
