With 430 presets available, users can quickly find inspiring tones suitable for a wide range of musical styles. The instrument allows combining two independent voices, each featuring waveform displays, volume and pitch controls, reverse mode, and a variety of modulation options such as multimode filters and LFOs. A dedicated Sub-Voice adds depth through a sine wave synth with adjustable octave and envelope controls.

The sound design capabilities are enhanced by an extensive effects section, providing four send effect slots and four master effect slots. These slots support a variety of effects including chorus, phaser, saturation, wave shaping, compression, delay, reverb, and convolution with multiple impulse responses. This setup enables users to shape their bass sounds with precision and creativity, ensuring rich and dynamic results tailored to any production.

Empire of Bass is built with performance in mind, featuring a large central cross-mixer for blending the two main voices with real-time control that can be recorded or randomized per note.
