10k+ plugins and counting. It's free.
Eko is an echo effect plugin designed to create dynamic and evolving delay sounds. It offers flexible delay time settings that can be freely adjusted or synced with the host, supporting standard timing divisions including triplet and dotted notes. The plugin features multiple stereo modes such as stereo, cross stereo, and ping pong, allowing precise control over stereo width and timing offset. These modes enable creative panning effects from centered delays to wide, hard-panned echoes.
Beyond basic echo, Eko includes several effects to enhance the delay’s character. Tape flutter emulates the instability of vintage tape echoes, adding movement and life to the sound. The built-in color control shapes the tone by filtering lows or highs, delivering a classic filtered echo effect. Mild saturation introduces subtle grit and warmth, while the chorus effect adds depth and width, transforming echoes into lush, reverb-like textures at higher settings. A smart ducking feature uses side-chain compression to reduce echo volume automatically, ensuring the original signal remains clear and prominent.
Eko supports Mac OS X 10.11 and newer as well as Windows 64-bit systems, compatible with M1 and Pro/Max Mac models without requiring separate downloads. The user interface is customizable with multiple color schemes and offers scalable zoom levels from 25% to 200%, accommodating different screen sizes and workflows. This combination of features makes Eko a powerful tool for producers seeking rich, animated delay effects with intuitive control and visual flexibility.
