Eclipsis is a hybrid wavetable synthesizer featuring three independent oscillators, each with its own frequency and subtractive modulation capabilities. It offers an extensive modulation matrix with six LFOs, nine modulation sources, and 39 targets, allowing deep sound shaping and dynamic control. The synthesizer includes an Arp/Gate module with customizable routing for seven targets, providing flexible rhythmic and melodic sequencing. Two effects racks deliver Reverb, Chorus, and Delay effects, enhancing the sound palette and adding spatial dimension.
Designed for intricate sound design, Eclipsis provides complex preset management with unique randomization features and subpreset saving for streamlined workflow. Its oscillators support a wide range of wave shapes and advanced tools to modify base waveforms, resulting in a vast variety of sonic textures. Additional features include polyphony control up to 32 voices, portamento, detune, phase offset, and various modulation options such as FM and subtractive filtering with multiple filter types. The modulation matrix and LFOs amplify creative possibilities, while the integrated effects and arp/gate modules add rhythmic and spatial complexity.
Eclipsis runs on Windows (32-bit) as a VST 2.4 plugin and is easy to install with organized preset folders for quick access and management. It supports right-click controls for setting default and zero parameters, enhancing usability. While MIDI CC and MIDI learn functionalities are planned for future updates, the current version already provides a robust platform for crafting unique sounds. This synthesizer is ideal for producers seeking a powerful, flexible instrument capable of generating rich, evolving tones across genres.
