The GSi ECHO B2 is a precise digital emulation of a rare Binson Echorec B2 mod. T5E delay unit from 1965. This particular hardware, still equipped with its original tubes and minimally serviced over the past three decades, offers a unique sonic character that reflects its current state rather than its original new sound. Despite being less renowned than the Echorec 2, this model shares the same magnetic drum, heads, mechanism, and circuitry, delivering a classic analog delay experience in a more compact design.

This plugin faithfully replicates all the controls of the vintage unit while adding modern enhancements. Users can fine-tune the alignment of each magnetic head individually, slow the drum motor to extend delay times, and adjust the level of circuit hiss to emulate the authentic analog warmth. These additional parameters provide greater flexibility in shaping delay textures while preserving the original character of the Binson Echorec sound.

GSi ECHO B2 is compatible with Windows and macOS as VST, VST3, AU, and standalone applications, and also supports iPadOS as an AUv3 plugin.
