This synth features six operators, each with multi-mode filters, feedback options, and a choice of 25 waveforms, expanding the traditional FM palette. Additional modulation tools include two LFOs with multiple waveforms, modulation envelopes, and assignable macros, giving users detailed control over sound shaping. Performance features such as a step sequencer, arpeggiator, and four effects slots enhance the instrument’s expressiveness and sound design capabilities.

With 32 voices of polyphony and four-voice unison, the DX7 V delivers rich, layered textures suitable for modern productions. It also offers vintage and modern DAC modes to authentically emulate the original hardware’s converter characteristics.
