Dual F (V0040) is a streamlined stereo or dual-mono amp simulator designed for Windows, offering a low-to-medium gain tone with reduced CPU usage compared to its predecessor, Classic F. It features zero software latency options and a tonestack modeled after Classic F, providing flexible input configurations including Left, Right, Stereo, and Swap inputs alongside Mono and Stereo outputs. This allows unique signal processing options such as handling a single channel input while producing stereo outputs or creating identical processed signals from stereo inputs.

The amp sim replicates the dynamic, asymmetric grid-conduction distortion characteristic of Classic Thirty and Tiny F, with customizable parameters for each tube stage. It offers a two-stage preamp capable of delivering a wide range of distortion from subtle preamp overdrive to more intense power amp distortion. Dual F supports stacking multiple amp instances within a single track to emulate higher-gain amplifiers, complete with special cabinet simulations acting as bandpass filters and optional output filters for further tonal shaping.

Dual F is suitable for both guitar and bass guitar applications, featuring a resizable user interface ranging from Tiny to Giant to accommodate different workflow preferences. Although it does not include built-in stomp or rack effects, users can integrate third-party plugins between stacked amp sims to expand sound design possibilities. Developed by EXE Consulting using RackAFX, Dual F offers a powerful yet efficient solution for amp simulation with flexible routing and tonal options.
