It also supports automation lane data, streamlining workflow and creative control for dynamic processing tasks.

Designed to handle a wide range of dynamic effects, the DRP2a mkII excels in compression, expansion, gating, limiting, soft clipping, de-essing, ducking, and pumping. It employs multiple program-dependent RMS level detectors to deliver smooth, musical results with minimal distortion. The interface is straightforward, featuring a single Threshold control that governs compression and gating, making it quick to dial in sounds for guitars, vocals, bass, and more.

Beyond its faithful emulation of the original hardware, the DRP2a mkII offers additional functionalities such as internal and external sidechain inputs with adjustable high-pass filtering, selectable look-ahead options, and a variable de-essing control focused on the sidechain signal. The plugin also includes an oversampled output clipper/limiter and wet/dry mix control, with a user-resizable interface that adapts to high DPI displays. Compatible with major plugin formats on both Windows and macOS platforms, it efficiently manages CPU usage by automatically switching between mono and stereo processing modes.
