Digimorph is an innovative digital synthesizer that combines subtractive and additive synthesis techniques in a unique design. It offers a rich sound palette, ranging from evolving pads and gritty chiptune leads to raw digital basses and FM-like textures. Equipped with a powerful modulation matrix, the synthesizer allows extensive control over sound shaping. Users can explore a wide variety of tones enhanced by high-quality master effects including chorus, delay, reverb, and dual saturation options. An integrated arpeggiator with step sequencing capabilities further expands creative possibilities, making Digimorph suitable for modern electronic music, soundtracks, and any production requiring distinctive digital sounds.
At the heart of Digimorph lies a non-band limited additive oscillator capable of mixing up to 16 harmonics with selectable waveforms such as sine, triangle, pulse, saw, and multi-pulse. The oscillator supports monophonic, polyphonic, and live arpeggiator modes, with the latter automatically generating melodic sequences from pressed notes. Sound-shaping features include adjustable harmonic gains, phase shifts, and modulation through LFOs and envelopes. Additional parameters like pulse width modulation, wave shaping, ring modulation, and sound degradation effects such as bit reduction and pitch noise allow for intricate timbral variations. Each oscillator is followed by a resonant multimode filter that smoothly transitions between low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass filtering, providing further tonal refinement.
Digimorph's extensive modulation options enable dynamic sound expression, with two ADSR envelopes and two LFOs per oscillator modulating amplitude, pitch, and other parameters. Modulation sources include velocity, mod wheel, aftertouch, and the arpeggiator itself, all adjustable via intuitive sliders. The arpeggiator features tempo-synced step sequencing with individual step control over pitch, waveform, and modulation sources, supporting various sequence shapes. The master effects section adds chorus, ping-pong delay, reverb, dual distortion types, and a selectable low-pass filter to tame high frequencies. Recent updates introduced a flexible randomizer for creative parameter variation, additional presets, and fine-tuned pulse-width modulation behavior. Digimorph is a comprehensive tool for digital sound design with deep customization and inspiring sonic capabilities.
