The Build page offers a browser to select and assemble drum kits, while the Edit page provides detailed control over individual microphones, pitch, sample selection, and MIDI velocity curves. The Mapping page enables users to customize MIDI note assignments and convert mappings from popular drum samplers, ensuring seamless integration into existing setups. The Mix page delivers a powerful mixing environment with channel strips for each drum, stereo group channels, and multiple stereo outputs to the DAW.

DF-Ultimate Sampler’s mixing capabilities include flexible processing modules such as saturation (tube, tape, distortion), compression, reverb with nine unique modes, and EQ, all of which can be reordered to suit individual mixing preferences. Each channel strip includes send modules for routing signals to group channels for further processing, enhancing the mixing options for realistic drum production.
