Devastor 2 RE is a streamlined multiband distortion plugin built as an enhanced version of the distortion unit from Phoscyon. It delivers a powerful combination of distortion and filtering through four core modules: a dynamics-flattener for input signal compression, a diode-clipper distortion stage, three multi-mode filter sections, and an optional output limiter. This setup allows users to shape and color their sound with precision and flexibility.

The plugin features nine different routing configurations that define the interaction between its filters and diode-clipper. Filters can be placed before or after the distortion stage, or even operate in parallel, offering a range of tonal possibilities. Unlike typical peaking EQ filters found in many distortion units, Devastor 2 RE uses analog-modeled synthesizer-style filters including low pass, high pass, band pass, and band reject types, each with adjustable resonance and cutoff controls for detailed sound sculpting.

Designed for high-quality processing, Devastor 2 RE supports 64-bit internal precision and provides ultra-low aliasing output to maintain sound clarity even under heavy distortion.
