This Delay plugin offers flexible timing options, allowing you to run it either free running or tempo synced to your project. It features a range of stereo and feedback controls, including panning and a ping-pong effect that creates dynamic echoes bouncing between speakers. The delay time can be adjusted in milliseconds or as parts of a beat when sync mode is enabled, ensuring precise rhythmic integration. Feedback settings produce exponentially decaying echoes, adding depth and character to your sound.
One of the standout features is the ducking capability, which lowers the delayed sound's volume whenever the dry input signal is present. This design allows for long, immersive delays without overcrowding the original audio, maintaining clarity and balance. The mix control lets you blend the delayed signal with the dry sound to achieve the perfect balance for your mix. Additionally, the plugin’s interface includes a resize handle for customizable control size, making it suitable for live performance setups, especially on touchscreen monitors.
While Delay works effectively as a standalone effect, it is primarily designed to enhance larger effect hosts, offering creative modular workflows. It integrates seamlessly with multi-effect environments that allow you to combine various effects in unique ways, expanding your sound design possibilities. This plugin is also available as a Rack Extension for Reason, providing further compatibility across different production platforms and ensuring it fits into a broad range of music production workflows.
