Although perfect replication of the feedback effect is challenging due to technical constraints, careful adjustments and filtering methods have been applied to closely approximate the original sound.

The plugin faithfully recreates the sonic imperfections of the original CX5M, such as aliasing and bit-depth limitations stemming from its 8-bit, 3.58 MHz processor. These elements contribute to the authentic vintage character, including stepped envelopes and subtle distortion on low frequencies. Envelope shaping has been thoughtfully adapted from the original ADSDR format to a more intuitive ADSR plus delay configuration, enhancing creative possibilities while respecting the original's intent.
