CoreReLation Phase Analyzer, known as CORE, is a specialized Reason rack extension crafted for in-depth phase and stereo imaging analysis. Developed in collaboration with Lab:One Recordings, CORE features a distinctive interface with large, intuitive controls that assist producers in identifying and addressing phase and stereo image issues. This tool is essential for achieving a balanced mix by providing clear visual feedback on phase correlation and stereo spread.

At the top of CORE, the precise Phase Correlation Meter monitors out-of-phase signals, helping to prevent problems that occur when stereo signals are summed to mono, such as volume loss or cancellation. The centerpiece is a color-changing audio goniometer that visually represents the phase and stereo image of individual tracks, group busses, or the master output, guiding users toward an ideal tall and narrow oval stereo shape. Additional features include independent gain, pan, and phase invert controls for both left and right channels, enabling fine adjustments to correct phase and stereo discrepancies.

CORE also offers a large global pan knob for panorama control and an input source toggle for swapping left and right channels, which can create interesting stereo effects. The global width knob controls the stereo field's spread, from narrowing to doubling the width for enhanced spatial effects on elements like pads and vocals. When set to mono positions, this knob activates a HAAS effect, introducing a subtle delay that simulates a wider stereo image. Compatible with Reason 9.5 and above, CORE is designed to bring clarity, width, and solidity to your mixes.
