The Bucket ONE is a software synthesizer plugin designed to recreate the distinctive sound of the classic Crumar BIT 01/99 synthesizers from 1985. Compatible with both Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS, it offers broad support across popular plugin formats including VST2, VST3, AU, CLAP, and AAX. Developed using native C++ code, the plugin ensures efficient performance, making it suitable even for systems with limited resources.

This synthesizer focuses on faithfully emulating the original hardware's character, featuring a visual sound editor that allows deep sound shaping. It supports up to 64 voices of polyphony with options like Split and Double mode to enhance playability. Sound generation includes two oscillators with triangle, sawtooth, and pulse waveforms alongside a white noise generator. Its classic self-resonating four-pole lowpass filter, combined with individual envelopes for the filter and amplifier sections, offers dynamic tonal control.

Additional features such as two low-frequency oscillators (LFOs), a Unison mode, and support for SysEx and Tape Dump import expand creative possibilities. The plugin also supports dynamic micro-tuning through MTS-ESP by ODDSound, allowing for unique tuning setups. A resizable user interface ensures flexible workflow, while comprehensive MIDI Learn functionality enables all parameters to be controlled via MIDI CC.
