BLEASS Reverb is an innovative audio effect designed to enhance music production and live performances by creating immersive and dynamic soundscapes. It combines multiple processing stages, including filtering, frequency shifting, waveshaping, and a side-chained compressor, to deliver a rich and evolving reverb experience. This effect allows users to manipulate their sound with precision, offering tools that go beyond traditional reverb units.
The reverb effect is structured into three main stages. The input stage adjusts the gain and early reflections pre-delay, simulating distant wall reverberations. It includes a filter section with two options: a low-shelf filter to boost or reduce bass frequencies and a high-pass filter that cuts low frequencies while creating resonant peaks. The reverb stage features size modulation, length control, and high-frequency damping to emulate plate reverb characteristics. A freeze toggle enables infinite sustain for creative sound exploration, while an X/Y panel applies frequency shifting and waveshaping to transform the reverb tail dynamically.
In the final stage, a side-chained compressor creates a ducking effect that enhances clarity by reducing reverb levels during heavy kicks and bass notes. This ensures that the mix remains clear and punchy without losing the spaciousness provided by the reverb. Additionally, a dry-wet control allows seamless blending of the processed and unprocessed signals, giving users full control over the reverb presence in their mix.
