BigSeq2 significantly expands the capabilities of Audio Damage's original BigSeq gate effect, offering a comprehensive suite of creative tools for sound manipulation. It features twelve step sequencers that control ten different effects organized into six independent blocks. This setup enables users to create a wide range of rhythmic and textural effects, from sharp staccato gates to smooth, evolving filter sweeps and complex frequency shifts.

Each of the six effect blocks includes a gate sequencer and a modulation sequencer, providing dynamic control over effect activation and parameter modulation. The gate sequencer switches the effect on or off, while the modulation sequencer can adjust multiple parameters within the block, allowing for intricate and evolving sound designs. Users can rearrange the order of these blocks by simple drag-and-drop, customizing the signal flow to fit their creative needs.

BigSeq2 offers multiple sequencing modes, including forward, reverse, and random steps, with the ability to randomize sequences at selectable intervals for unpredictable and engaging results. Its effects collection covers a broad spectrum, including VCA, pan, multi-mode filters, fuzz, sine warp, delay with chorus and flanger options, frequency shifting with ring modulation and phasing, sample rate reduction, bit depth reduction, and a unique 'Error' effect. Additionally, it supports MIDI Learn for full external hardware integration, enhancing control and performance flexibility.
