The Settings View presents a streamlined parameter set for quick adjustments, while the Keys View replicates the original synth's look but expands on its functionality with enhanced controls, eliminating the need for menu diving. A robust Preset Manager helps organize and share favorite presets effortlessly. The plugin also features an extensive eight-module effects section including Compressor, Phaser, Flanger, Chorus, Delay, Reverb, Distortion, and EQ. These effects can be freely reordered within the signal chain using drag-and-drop, allowing for creative sound shaping.

Taking inspiration from other synths in the AX range, the AX73 integrates additional features such as extra chorus settings, a second VCO, sub-oscillator, and an extended VCO octave range down to 32'.
