Automathico is a MIDI note generator that creates evolving sequences through looped mathematical calculations. It features six nearly identical sequencers divided into rhythmic and melodic sections. Two sequencers focus on stable enharmonic bases and chords, while the other four handle pitch and velocity patterns. Each sequencer applies a series of mathematical transformations such as waveshaping and trigonometric functions to generate unique and dynamic sequences.

The interface includes a compact automation recorder for knob adjustments and a dedicated area for rhythmic controls, alongside selectors and controls for each sequencer. Each sequencer has its own clock divider and sync options to maintain rhythmic consistency, with the pitch and velocity sequencers offering additional modulation by feeding values from other sequencers into their loops. Dedicated LFOs allow further modulation of parameters, enabling intricate and evolving patterns that shift the mood and rhythm effortlessly.

Automathico excels at controlling both software instruments and external hardware via MIDI, supporting flexible routing for different MIDI channels. The rhythmic and melodic sections coordinate to assign notes to multiple MIDI note generators, which can then trigger various synths or samplers across different keyboard ranges. This design makes it easy to create complex, shifting musical textures with simple knob turns, bringing a dynamic and engaging layer to your music production workflow.
