Ample China Dadi (ACDD) is a detailed woodwind virtual instrument featuring 5.8 GB of high-quality samples, including various articulations and expressive FX sounds. It captures the unique tones of the traditional China National Orchestra's Singing of Dragon C D E F G key Dadis, performed by artist Xiaokui Ding. The instrument was recorded using five microphones placed in multiple positions, allowing users to create rich and immersive soundscapes by adjusting mic volumes and EQ settings. With three mic modes—Mono, Modern, and Traditional—the library offers a range of tonal options suited to different musical styles.

This sample library is designed to deliver expressive performance capabilities with three groups of articulations assigned to different keyswitches, including head grace notes, body articulations with legato transitions, and special effects. The intelligent legato system adapts to note duration and velocity, triggering various legato styles and allowing for natural and dynamic phrasing. The innovative SAHDS modulation system enables realistic vibratos and dynamic expression without constant manual control. Additional features like creative mirroring, adjustable wind effect, and sample loop functionality further enhance the realism and playability of this woodwind instrument.

Ample China Dadi also includes a suite of built-in effects to shape and polish the sound. These include an 8-band EQ with real-time spectrum visualization for precise tonal control, a compressor with multiple detection modes and automatic settings for smooth dynamics, a 6-tap echo effect with detailed parameter adjustments, and an IR reverb offering various realistic acoustic environments.
