It offers precise control over spatial audio scenes, including rotation and spatial width adjustments, enabling users to tailor the listening experience. The plugin features specially crafted HRTF filters that ensure accurate and immersive sound reproduction, enhancing the sense of depth and directionality in binaural mixes.

The plugin includes two high order ambisonic HRTF sets: Sennheiser AMBEO, which emulates the renowned Neumann KU 100 microphone and is ideal for binauralizing recordings made with the AMBEO VR Mic, and the Google HRTF set, providing an authentic listening experience for ambisonic mixes as they appear in YouTube 360 and Google VR applications. These options allow for high-quality binaural rendering suited to various immersive audio scenarios.

Ambi Head HD also supports custom HRTF filters through an integrated SOFA importer, enabling personalized binaural playback for first order ambisonics. Additionally, the plugin features a built-in goniometer with a Lissajous display, offering visual feedback on the binaural output and spatial characteristics of the sound scene.
