70 DVZ Strings offers an intuitive user interface that streamlines orchestral string production by consolidating control into just five MIDI tracks representing Violins I, Violins II, Viola, Celli, and Bass. This design eliminates the need for multiple tracks dedicated to different articulations or styles, allowing you to access comprehensive factory and user presets with a single click. The streamlined workflow accelerates creativity by minimizing load times and reducing the complexity of managing large orchestral sessions.
This library features real-time, continuously adjustable articulations and styles, enabling smooth transitions between playing techniques such as legato and marcato through any continuous MIDI controller. Users can manipulate bow position in multiple dimensions and simulate nuanced left-hand movements along the strings, or simply rely on automatic modes for effortless performance. The innovative DVZ technology automatically divides chords in real time, distributing notes among the selected number of players to prevent the artificial sound buildup common in traditional string libraries, resulting in a more authentic orchestral balance.
Recorded using 32 separate desks—including solos and ensemble groupings totaling 70 players—70 DVZ Strings allows instant customization of orchestra size without the need to load or unload samples. The patented SPACE process enhances realism by simulating natural sound bleed between microphones and players, offering detailed control over spatial placement and acoustic ambiance. Powered by Native Instruments' Kontakt Player, this library runs efficiently on standard Intel Core i7 systems with 8 GB RAM, providing a high-quality orchestral sound experience accessible to a wide range of users.
