Shpongle, the psychedelic duo of Simon Posford and Raja Ram, emerged in 1996 after witnessing a solar eclipse in India. Their debut album, Are You Shpongled?, released in 1999, set the stage for their exploration of ambient and electronica sounds. The duo has continued to innovate, with their latest album, Codex VI, arriving in 2017.
