Marc Houle, a Windsor, Ontario native, transitioned from rock to electronic music after immersing himself in Detroit's techno scene. Known for his live performances built from original productions, he gained recognition after debuting on Richie Hawtin's Minus label with the album Restore in 2004. In 2011, his sub-label Items & Things became independent, releasing his album Undercover in 2012.
