Isao Tomita (1932-2016) was a pioneering composer who blended electronic and classical music. His 1974 release 'Clair de lune' topped Billboard charts, making him the first Japanese Grammy nominee. He created music for NHK Taiga dramas, launched the 'ISAO TOMITA PROJECT,' and premiered 'SYMPHONY IHATOV' featuring Hatsune Miku. Tomita passed away shortly before his final work, 'Doctor Coppelius,' was performed.
