Blawan, a prominent figure in electronic music since the 2010s, emerged from the post-dubstep scene with impactful releases on Hessle Audio and R&S. Known for his gritty techno sound, he gained acclaim with the track "Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage" and launched his label Ternesc in 2015. His full-length debut, Wet Will Always Dry, arrived in 2018.
